Pugs at the Galveston Art Center

We took another trip down to Galveston today, mainly on a mission to try and find a China Hutch for the dining room and a display cabinet for our large collection of pottery and collectable Pugs.  Unfortunatley we did not have much joy and the mission was indeed a failure.   But we did make a find that made us very happy!  Pugs!

We were walking down The Strand and taking in the sounds, smells and sights of a relaxing Sunday afternoon when Robbi spotted a Pug staring at her through the window of the Galveston Arts Center.

We just had to venture inside and see what this little guy was doing in there.

We found that was there with a bunch of friends and we just had to rehome a couple!

We brought home a fawn and a black! The ones we got are from a limited edition 1500 set and are signed by the artist, Chris Menconi.  This is the first time we have seen his work and we love it!

I am really getting to like Galveston, we always seem to find something new and to our taste everytime we make the trip down.

You were just a few blocks from our house when you were on the strand. I saw those when we first moved here and so wanted one.
Glad you are enjoying the Gulf Coast!
