As promised, we have the results of our Halloween costume contest as well as some behind-the-scenes footage from our fashion show:

Best Dressed - Charlie:

Yes, Charlie did INDEED work this outfit. I don't know if it was the hat, the lasso or the fringe...anyway you cut it he just looks so adorable!

Best Attitude - J.J.:

In fact, he was SO easy going about the outfit and even the hat that we have to wonder about his past. Gail, is there something we should know???

Most Patient - Denny:

Poor Denny. The humiliation he has to endure having us for parents.

Best Diva - Phoebe:

What can I say - the girl didn't want to be in a dress. Oh well, Mommy won that fight!

Most Understanding - Winston:

He was a very good sport about the whole thing - even the fact that his uniform didn't fit quite right and hindered his playtime. He's a sweet little guy that is going to make someone a fantastic companion. We love ya Winston!

Now as a special treat we bring you some of our out-takes:

Part of Phoebe's issues with her outfit was that the dress was a bit too small. Next year, we get a Medium!

Phoebe used her feminine wiles to lure Winston into helping her out of her costume a bit earlier than we had planned.

Denny's costume required his front paws to be covered with a horrid polyester material which made him slide all over the sofa. We're sorry Denny.

Of course Phebes wasn't the only one being a bit demanding. Charlie had a difficult time deciding which outfit to wear.

Actually that's not true. He was supposed to be the astronaut but kept ripping his helmet off. So we let him be sheriff instead. Maybe that was his plan all along....

Anyway, we had a great time and I'm sure that deep, deep down all of our furkids did as well. I believe we have just started a new tradition at our house!
